1. Verify the eChallan Details
Before proceeding:

Visit the official Parivahan eChallan portal

Or check on your State Police/Transport Department’s website

Enter your vehicle number, DL number, or eChallan number

Review the violation, location, photo proof (if any), and vehicle details
2. Check for Errors in eChallan
Look for issues like:

Wrong registration number

Incorrect vehicle make/model

Violation committed in a different state/city

You were not present at the violation location/time

Duplicate or fake challans
3. Contact the Traffic Police or RTO
If you find any discrepancy:
