Motorcycle without gear (up to 50cc): Minimum age 16 years (with parental consent).

Other vehicles (non-transport): Minimum age 18 years.

Transport vehicles: Minimum age 20 years, plus a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) licence held for at least one year.

Online Application Process

Navigate to ‘Licence’ > ‘Learner’s Licence’: Select ‘Apply for Learner Licence’.

Pay the Application Fee: Approximately ₹15 per vehicle class.

Book a Test Slot: Schedule your learner’s licence test at a nearby RTO.
